How to get rid of premature greying of hair naturally

Greying of hair also known as canities is a chronological ageing process that affects people of all races and genders. But if the hair greying happens before the age of 20 in whites, 25 in Asians and 30 Africans, it is considered premature greying of hair.
Melanogenesis, or the process of melanin synthesis and distribution from the melanocytes to the keratinocyte, is responsible for the color of human hair. The two forms of melanin found in human hair follicles are the black-brown pigment eumelanin, which is mostly found in black and brown hair, and the yellow or red pigment pheomelanin, which is mostly present in Auburn and blonde hair.

1) Hereditary

2) Vitamin deficiency
It has been identified that some nutrients play a critical role in the premature greying of hair. According to the studies, a lack of iron, copper, vitamin B, iodine and omega 3 produces grey hair, thus these nutrients must be included in the diet. And try to avoid junk foods, packaged foods and processed foods as they lead to greying of hair. Pay attention to what you eat because a poor diet might lead to premature greying of hair.
3) Oxidative Stress
Oxidative stress in the body may have a role when it occurs prematurely. When antioxidants are insufficient to prevent the detrimental effects of free radicals, oxidative stress occurs. Excessive oxidative stress can encourage the development of illnesses, such as vitiligo, a skin pigmentation disorder. Remedies for premature greying of hair
Intake of a healthy and proper diet is the most important remedy to treat every health condition, including premature greying of hair. To regain your black and lustrous hair, you must include certain foods in your daily diet. Nuts and seeds, potatoes, mushrooms, and other copper-rich foods are just a few examples. Foods that are abundant in copper can increase melanin synthesis and cause your hair to become more pigmented. Vitamin B- rich foods like curd, paneer, banana, carrots and other vegetables will help you in preventing grey hair.
2) Hibiscus Yoghurt Hair Mask
Add four tablespoons of yoghurt and 1/4 tablespoon of hibiscus powder and mix it well. Apply it all over your hair and scalp and leave it for 30 minutes. Wash it off with normal or lukewarm water.
3) Amla
Amla is high in antioxidants and has anti-ageing effects that can help prevent premature greying of hair. There are various ways through which Amla can help in premature greying. Washing your hair with Amla water is a good way, and can also extract Amla juice and mix it with almond oil and a few drops of lemon juice, mix well and apply it to your hair and leave it for half an hour and wash it off.
Curry leaves have been used for medicinal purposes for a long time. It is also beneficial in reversing premature grey hair. Mix curry leaf powder with coconut oil and apply it to your hair and scalp. The vitamin B present in curry leaves helps to restore the natural hair color.
5) Datura
The Datura plant is thought to offer numerous medicinal qualities for both ailments and human hair. It provides a significant benefit in terms of hair growth promotion. Use bhringraj oil or bhringraj hair mask to prevent premature greying of hair.
9) Henna
Henna is a great ingredient to naturally dye your hair and cover up grey hair.
Hair can be made darker, shinier and soft with black tea. Add 3-5 teaspoons of tea dust to 2 cups of boiling water and let it cool. Apply this cooled tea to your wet hair. Tea can also be used by mixing it with a conditioner and applied to the hair for an hour before washing.
Mix fenugreek powder with aloe vera juice and apply it to your hair and scalp. Leave it for a few hours or overnight and wash it off.
